Will the NAIA be Transferring to Clark Soon?

That is the question.

The answer: we are not sure yet.

What’s your opinion?

The Transfer from NAIA to DMIA

So, the government through the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) under the helm of Sec. Mar Roxas plans to transfer the country’s premiere airport from the NAIA to the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) popularly known as Clark Airport in five year’s time?

If you’re going to ask me, I am in favor of transferring the country’s main airport from the present NAIA, which is under the MIAA to the one at Clark; since the NAIA is really congested during peak times. But if you’re going to ask me if this will happen within the term of PNoy, my answer will be a straight NO. Why? Do you think PNoy will allow the name of our country’s premiere airport to be changed from his dad’s namesake to the one of his predecessor’s father? If PNoy will allow such move during his term, I will be the very first one to ask, “Mr. President, are you kidding me?!”
